Vince Neil Performs In Tulsa

It's time we have a talk about Vince Neil. He performed in Tulsa, Oklahoma recently. The show was comprised of all the Motley Crue hits he likes to perform. Now, there's nothing wrong with that and the guy is entitled to make a living and he looks like he's having fun. That said, I'm worried about his health. He just doesn't look good these days. In fact, I was honestly startled by the videos below. I wish him well and I hope everything is okay in his personal life.

Def Leppard To Release 'Hysteria 30'

Oh my glam, I want this. Def Leppard will release Hysteria 30, a special 3oth anniversary package of Hysteria. The remastered box set will come out August 4th via Universal. The band is releasing a few different versions.

The biggest version is a $125 box set that will include a remastered version of Hysteria, lots of unreleased songs, a book and "In The Round" audio. There are 7 discs in this big package. It's available for pre-order on Amazon now. The other versions are vinyl packages and the like. Well, I want the big set. I'm trying to work through my feelings on spending $125 on an album I already own in every format ever released.

I'm excited the band is releasing this special package. I think it will be a great seller for them.

Eddie Vedder Will Host Session On Beatles Channel

Are any of you enjoying the special Beatles channel on Sirius XM? I've been listening a little. Now Eddie Vedder will host a DJ session on that channel. I wonder if more rock stars will also do so in the future? Lots of our beloved glam musicians love the Beatles. Could be fun.

Great White Release 'Big Time' Video

Great White just released a video for the song "Big Time." It's from their new album Full Circle which came out on June 2. To be honest, I forgot this album was coming out this month. I wrote about it on here a few months ago and then I never really heard any more about it.

The track below isn't bad. Great White will always be Jack Russell to me, but Terry Ilous does a great job here and the sound is unmistakable: two chords and you know you're listening to Great White.

It's Monday...

The weekend went way too fast and I'm not in the mood for Monday. I spent the weekend working on various projects and I'm pretty tired. I feel like the cat looks below. Yesterday, my husband and I did some construction work on our basement and listened to Hair Nation for about 4 hours straight. I realized that Hair Nation plays a ton of Warrant. In my house it's always 1989.

Does anyone have any music suggestions for my running playlist? I need new metal. I haven't been able to find anything really great lately. Remember, I'm in to metalcore so hit me up if you are too.

Big Milestone For Guns n' Roses

Guns n' Roses hasn't released new music in years. Chinese Democracy came out in 2008 after a decade of starts and stops by Axl Rose. The band still makes a ton of money off their back catalog, especially Appetite for Destruction. Now, Guns n' Roses Greatest Hits just logged its 400th non consecutive week on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Only seven albums have spent at least 400 weeks on the list. The longest charting album of all time is Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Guns n' Roses Greatest Hits was released in April 2014. I don't own it because I have all the source albums, but I know most people are complete collector types, so I bet you have it!

Been Listening To Beartooth Lately

I'm a big fan of the self-titled Attack Attack! album. Attack Attack! doesn't exist anymore, but that 2010 release is still in my regular running rotation. Singer Caleb Shomo formed Beartooth when Attack Attack! ended and his new band has released two albums.

Beartooth's most recent album is called Aggressive and it features the track "Sick of Me." It's a great tribute to our veterans who suffer from depression, anxiety and/or PTSD. Not a glam band, but I thought some of you might like this and I wanted to give props to Beartooth since they are from Ohio like me!

Caveat: "Sick of Me" isn't as heavy as many other tracks from the band.

Here's another track I like called "In Between."
