'Forgiveness' - David Lee Roth, New Track

Diamond David Lee Roth dropped a new track yesterday called "Forgiveness." Roth released the song "Lavender Forgiveness" earlier this year featuring the music of Taylor Swift. Now "Forgiveness" just has acoustic guitar and no Swift.

It is an interesting time of year for Roth to release such a song - I am taking it as autobiographical with lyrics about using cocaine and making mistakes and asking family members for forgiveness. Dave doesn't usually explain his lyrics - so we should just be glad we have a new track from him. Dude has gotten prolific!

David Lee Roth Is Back With New Video; Weird Dancing Ensues

We are lucky to live at the same time as David Lee Roth, I swear. Dude is out here creating music and doing whatever he wants. Dancing while spending that sweet money I guess.

Back in 20126, DLR covered the Simon & Garfunkel song "Baby Driver." Earlier this week, Dave made a clip for the song and it is completely goofy, even by Roth standards. Dave is just out here, having fun and trying to make us smile. You gotta love it - and him!

'Scotch and Sofa' -- New David Lee Roth Song

Diamond David Lee Roth has a new song! It's called "Scotch and Sofa" and is in line with Roth's ironic sense of humor. The song is jazzy and catchy as hell. I don't exactly know what genre of music this is, but it isn't hard rock. I know people will have a problem with this track and evolution of Dave's music, but in my mind he's staying true to himself. DLR has always been an entertainer first and likes to try new things.

'Just Like Paradise' - Remix

Imagine my excitement while on YouTube checking a work video… and seeing David Lee Roth dropped a remix of “Just Like Paradise” earlier today?!?

“Paradise” is my favorite Roth tune and this remix makes those classic vocals clear and crisp. The guitars sound huge here, too!

We seemingly get a little something new from Dave every Friday these days. A Hanukkah miracle!

If my dorky butt would have even envisioned surprise content like this when I was, say, 15, I probably would have died. The Internet is a treasure and social media is generally the devil, but the both together have given us so much access to our beloved music heroes.

David Lee Roth, 'Talking Christmas Blues' -- New (Crazy) Track

I'm thinking of this as a beatnik Blues Traveler. The new David Lee Roth holiday song is more of a bonkers spoken-word poem and I don't hate it. The track is called "Talking Christmas Blues" and it is a roller coaster of all kinds of... stuff.

There's mentions of Santa getting trashed, Oprah asking questions, something about vegans, a menorah, people talking selfies, a drone strike, crackheads, conspiracy theorists and that isn't even all of it. Seriously, it's a trip.

Roth is nuts and I'm here for it.
