Scoop: A source familiar with the arrangements tells me that the Coachella festival will be postponed due to Coronavirus concerns and moved to the weekends of October 9 and 16.

As of now, the same lineup is confirmed to perform.

New Tesla Video, 'Signs'

Tesla has released a new video for their classic track "Signs." The song is from the new album Five Man Acoustical Jam. The album is full of Tesla classics like "Love Song."

You can purchase the new album on March 27. It will be available as a CD/DVD package.

SXSW Canceled

SXSW (South By Southwest), the huge music showcase held every March in Austin, was just canceled because of Coronavirus. The cancellation comes as more positive Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus) cases keep popping up across the country. This move comes as big companies and headline musicians pulled out. I was previously skeptical of big cancellations like this in America, because in this country, money is akin to God and such a decision is a real blow to the Austin economy. It does make you wonder just how many vendors and bands discussed canceling for fear of being around big groups of people.

What is the next big U.S. festival? Coachella? Keep an eye on that event, but it is over a month away, so a long time from now really.

Def Leppard Announce Record Store Day Release

Record Store Day is April 18. Def Leppard will celebrate with a special pressing of their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This pressing will be available in both the UK and the US. Happy Friday!

Whitesnake Postpones Japanese Tour

I figure we will start seeing more alerts like this one: Whitesnake has postponed its Japanese tour due to Covid-19. We have seen a few other cancellations here and there, but now things seem to be progressing at a more rapid pace. Covid-19 likes close contact so concerts could be dangerous in places where there is a pocket of outbreak. As always, keep your wits about you. Wash your hands, don't shake hands, don't touch your face. It will be interesting if we start seeing big concert cancellations in the U.S.
