Make Some Noise

I have stumbled upon the most epic video of all time. All hail the Slave Raider video for "Make Some Noise." I swear, it's got big hair, parachute pants and bad eye makeup. Really, this is a thing of beauty. Like, Slave Raider were ahead of their time or something. Gang chorus for the win!

Stryper, Live at Frontiers Rock Festival

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the biggest Stryper fan, but I have to give the guys in the band credit, they are always solid live. I can see why Froniters chose Stryper to headline their festival earlier this month.

Tesla, 'So Devine' -- New Track

Tesla has a new song out! The track is called "So Devine" and it is from the upcoming release Simplicity. What do you think? I'm always amazed at how consistent Tesla has remained over the years. I think Simplicity will be a very strong release for the band.

This Video Takes My Breath Away

Last night I came across a video of John Corabi and Frank Hannon doing an acoustic cover of Aerosmith's "Seasons of Wither." The duo did the special performance on the recent Monsters of Rock Cruise. "Wither" is one of my favorite Aerosmith songs and John and Frank really blow this cover out of the water. Amazing.

New Band - Dust Bowl Jokies

There's a newer Swedish band on the scene these days. They are called Dust Bowl Jokies, which might be one of the worst band names I've ever heard. Regardless, these guys have potential. They are definitely rough around the edges, but that's how I tend to like a lot of bands. Plus, these guys seem pretty eager to put in the work to make it big. Dust Bowl Jokies will even play at Sweden Rock Festival next month. Here's the video for their song "Boots On, Rocks Off" produced by Beau Hill.
